We are seeking an experienced Account Director to implement, lead and grow client engagement activities with one of our top strategic accounts. The Account Director will work closely and indirectly oversee team members from shared services (e.g., Strategy, Technology, Analytics, etc.) who will help identify, drive, and implement solutions for our client. Account Directors are expected to establish and maintain a strong partnership with the client by ensuring successful execution of deliverables, providing thought leadership on strategic planning initiatives, and providing overall efficient account management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establishing working partnerships with primary client lead
  • Leading strategic client meetings and quarterly business reviews
  • Interpreting and leading client discussions on results and results trending
  • Driving business by ensuring key program goals are met
  • Taking responsibility for on time, on strategy, accurate program execution
  • Effectively leading and motivating internal team to produce best in class work
  • The ability to mentor and coach individual team members for successful career growth
  • Fostering a collaborative, energized internal team dynamic
  • Establishing and maintaining account profitability
  • Understanding, leading and/or managing account development and growth opportunities


  • 8-10 years of client services/account management in a direct marketing agency or a combination of agency/client side. Client side experience must include a leadership role.
  • 5+ years direct marketing experience a must; experience with B2B marketing required
  • Analytically minded, specifically comfortable with data, response metrics and trends
  • Strong understanding of all aspects of direct response marketing and testing
  • Proven strategic leadership and cross-team program management in a matrix environment, including mentoring and managing staff
  • Solid understanding of all key channels (eMail, Web, Direct Mail, Telemarketing, etc,)
  • CRM & B2B background/working knowledge is a must
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; Fluent English
  • Ability to manage client relationships, especially sensitive issues and effectively problem solve
  • Ability to analyze problems and produce a viable solution
  • Ability to multi-task and work well in a fast changing environment
  • Bachelor’s degree required. Graduate degree such as MBA/Marketing/Business preferred
  |  10+ years' experience in executive search industry. He had held senior positions in the largest international executive search firms and the largest domestic executive search firm.
