INTRODUCTION/OBJECTIVE:

The Director will manage a diverse digital marketing team of media planners, buyers and web consultants. This digital leader will partner with the Company’s US based client teams to oversee the delivery of cross channel media programs that include Search, Email and Display. This digital leader is expected to have a broad range of experience within these disciplines, as well as a sharp analytical and data centric background.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Business and Team Management Responsibilities
    • Lead diverse teams across the Digital Agency Group (Email, Search, Display); responsible for fostering teamwork and driving motivation of team members while enabling flawless execution of client campaigns
    • Responsible for achievement of departmental metrics, including financial indicators, and client/employee satisfaction, retention, and growth; Actively monitors key indicators, taking timely and appropriate necessary actions
    • Responsible for ensuring growth of team members in the areas of functional capabilities, problem solving, and business communications; Inclusive of defining annual goals, monitoring performance, coach/mentor and provide an opportunity for growth and development
    • Resolves conflict easily and quickly, reducing organization and interpersonal issues
    • Oversees the usage of departmental operating processes to ensure standardized procedures are in place and fully utilized by the team; Identifies opportunities for continuous improvement and participates in the development/maintenance of departmental SOPs
    • Participates in departmental training efforts, working with the departmental leaders to identify needs, prioritize efforts, and contribute to the development of training to ensure a plan is in place to equip the team with training required to be successful in the execution of their role, as well as continued professional development
    • Works hand in hand with US based leaders to drive operational and service excellence, acting simultaneously in a teacher/leader capacity

  • Service and Delivery Responsibilities
    • Partner with Company US teams to deliver against client service requirements across Email, Search, and Display campaigns
    • Manage expectations internally by leading international teams with proactive and effective communications and problem resolution skills; Drive effective communication plans between GDC and US based teams
    • Represent company|IMPAQT as a thought leader in the digital marketing space, by displaying detailed industry and cross-fnctional knowledge; Consistently apply an analytical and strategic mindset to drive program performance; Participate in industry events and have an active voice in the marketplace

     

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Strong experience working within Display media platforms (DSPs, Ad Servers, etc) as well as Search platforms (Baidu, Bing, Yahoo, Google, etc)
  • Experience with web development technologies (HTML, CSS, Javascript, Photoshop, Dreamweaver) strongly preferred
  • More than 8 years of client services/account management in a direct marketing agency or a combination of agency/client side. Client side experience must include a leadership role.
  • Solid understanding of all key channels (eMail, Search, Display, etc,)
  • CRM background/working knowledge is preferred.
  • Nice to have an experience in global delivery.
  • Analytically minded, specifically comfortable with data, response metrics and trends
  • Proven strategic leadership and cross-team program management in a matrix environment, including mentoring and managing staff
  • Ability to manage client relationships, especially sensitive issues and effectively problem solve
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; Fluent English
  |  10 years working experience in IT practice executive search industry, strong in business development, execution and team management. Focus on Software, Internet and IT Services sector.
